Ball & Shirt Policy
Only 1 soccer ball, 1 tshirt and 1 water bottle will be provided to each camper. A 2nd ball, tshirt and water bottle will be provided when a camper attends his/her 5th weeks of camp. The RCSC is not responsible for lost or stolen balls, tshirts, water bottles or other personal items.
Cancellation Policy
There is a non-refundable $30 administration fee per child if you wish to cancel any week of camp. If written cancellation is received by the registration office at least 14 days prior to start of the camp, a refund (less the non-refundable $30 admin fee per child) will be provided. If written cancellation is made to the registration office within 14 days of camp starting, consideration will be only given to either switching weeks of camp or camp credit for future years. No refunds will be provided once camp has started. There are no refunds given due to bad weather.
Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up
Our camp program operates from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. We offer extended care before and after camp free of charge. You can drop off your camper between 8-9am and pickup between 4-5:30pm (in Ontario/Alberta) or 4-5pm (British Columbia) if applicable for your sessions. These extended hours are offered at no extra charge and we reserve the right to ask you to withdraw your camper or charge a $15 per 15 minute per day fee or ask you to withdraw if you cannot pick up before the designated late pickup time.
Inclement Weather Policy
Camp will go indoors or take shelter in a designated area until inclement weather clears. Soccer will most likely not be played indoors unless the facility is sufficient to do so. Staff will plan activities according to the facility we have available. No refunds due to bad weather.
Last Minute Registrations
If you register at the last minute (within a few days of camp starting), please call to check availability.
NSF/Stopped Cheques
NSF cheques, stop payments and returned payments are subject to a $25 service charge.
Nut Allergies
Our camp strives to maintain a nut free camp environment. We don’t knowingly provide any foods containing nuts and strongly encourage families to refrain from sending nut products to camp. We provide our staff training on food allergies, anaphylactic reactions, proactive approaches and appropriate procedures in these situations.
Post Dated Cheques
We require payment to secure your spot. If registering for multiple weeks, you can postdate cheques no later than 10 days prior to each week of camp for the additional weeks. To reserve your spot instantly, please complete the online registration form and make payment by credit card or you may run the risk of the camp filling up before receiving your cheque.
Sign In / Sign Out
We ask you to sign in and out each day with our staff to help us track attendance and provide security for your camper.
Swim Safety
The afternoon swim is a supervised leisure swim for approximately 1 hour (may be longer if the weather is hot and if the pool is available). Our staff coordinate with onsite lifeguards in adhering to local rules and regulations. In addition to the pool lifeguards, all of our staff help to enforce pool regulations by entering the pool with the campers. Most pools have onsite lifejackets; however, if you feel more comfortable sending him/her with their own lifejacket or floatation device, feel free to do so.
Anti Bullying Policy
The Royal City Soccer Club is committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all participants in our programs. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated in our camps. Creating a bully free environment starts with RCSC staff being role models and active participants in the camp experience of all campers.
Waiver
I agree to release and indemnify the Royal City Soccer Club (RCSC), its employees and volunteers from any claims for loss, injury to persons and property however caused, while participating in the chosen activity, which I, or any person claiming through me or on my behalf, may at any time have, arising out of or connected with the operation of the said activity. I acknowledge that camp photos and video taken at Super Summer Soccer+ Camp remain the sole property of such, and that they may be used in future and current marketing campaigns. I agree that RCSC can collect, use, disclose and store personal information for purposes of grouping campers, collecting/processing payments, and email or mailing promotional/marketing material. I give permission to the RCSC and its employees and volunteers to arrange for and facilitate bussing camper(s) to or from venues, if necessary. RCSC is not responsible for lost or stolen soccer balls, clothing or any other items.
